
Then we went to Pearl to pick up my new glasses. My new glasses are SO different that no one noticed them at all. And, oh yeah, did I mention we DO have vision insurance, but we went out of network so now we have to fill out a bunch of dumb paperwork. Oops.
Ariel and Adam played "Turn the living couch into a giant mess" in the afternoon and then Ariel took a long nap. Grandpa came to pick her up.
And Friday - just to prove my hardcore-ness I ran 3 miles in before Jeremy left for work. It was just starting to snow and hardly slippery at all. But it was wet. Then Ariel and I went to my chiropractor appointment. They have a nice little kid area and the office manage played with Ariel during my adjustment, it was almost like free babysitting.
It got more serious about snowing in the afternoon. Here's my poor snow crab tree - not sure if it will get to bloom this year:

Alex made a pretty good go at it, this has got to be the heaviest snow I've ever shoveled.
