A field trip to the zoo

One advantage(?) of not having Ariel as much is that I have more time to volunteer at the boys' school. So today I had my first gig as a field trip chaperon. Chaperoning 60 kindergartners to the zoo may seem like an impossible task, but somehow it gets done every year. Actually, the way they make it work is by having an average adult to child ration of 3:1. I lucked out and was only in charge of one other kid, so it was like taking my kid to the zoo, plus babysitting a spastic and energetic stranger.

One way we knew we were on the field trip was riding the school bus. Adam made us sit in the last row and I almost thought about being car bus sick.
