7:20 What? What is the noise I hear? Ariel isn't supposed to wake up until after 8:00!
7:40 Ariel was still awake and looking hungry, so I fed her and she took the whole 3 oz bottle.
8:15 Jeremy took Alex to preschool, so I had time to meet Crissy at Starbucks. I put Ariel in the Bjorn and she slept the whole time, so I could better enjoy my decaf-soy-mocha-at-145-with-whipped-cream. And Jeremy - I put it on my gift card, so I didn't spend any money! Crissy and I walked around Safeway with Gavin and Adam since our nemesis GOM (Grumpy Old Man) was in the Starbucks cafe. At 8:50, Crissy had to take Gavin to school, so I wandered over to Michael's. But since it wasn't 9:00 yet, they weren't open, so Adam and I went next door to the bakery and had a chocolate chip muffin. At 9:00, we went back to Michael's, where we looked around but DIDN'T BUY ANYTHING. Hear that Jeremy?
9:30 We got home and Ariel was awake so I gave her a bottle-

And at the end of the bottle, she proceeded to spit up in such away that she completely bypassed the burp cloth and got my favorite yoga pants and shirt, so I had to change. Ariel is dainty.
10:15 I thought it would be nice to get Adam down for a nap before it was time to pick Alex up from preschool. So we all hung out in his bed, encouraging him to sleep. Ariel demonstrated for him. I read him books. But Adam is stubborn. He has been know to fall asleep while sitting up, toppling over long after his eyes closed. But Adam was too stubborn today, even though he was clearly tired.
11:15 I decided to try a new tactic, driving to preschool and letting Adam sleep in the car. When I got everyone ready, I discovered Miss Ariel had a...
11:20 Poopy diaper
11:30 As I was making plans to leave, Crissy called and invited us over for lunch. I thought Adam could just as easily sleep at her house. He did fall asleep in the car, but woke up as soon as we got there at noon.
12:15 Ariel had full 3 oz bottle
12:45 We left to pick up Alex. Adam stayed awake in the car. On the drive home, I decided to drive further to give Adam a chance to nap, and that is how we ended up at...
1:45 The Parent's House. Grandma held Ariel for a bit, and when she started to fuss I put her in the Bjorn.
2:45 I came up with a grand plan while surfing the internet. The kid gym by The Parent's House has open gym from 3-4. I thought it would be great for the boys to play while I gave Ariel her next bottle, so...
3:00 We get to the gym, and are informed that the open gym is only for members (which we are not). I offer money under the table. I beg a little. The guy does not budge. "It just wouldn't be fair to our members" he kept repeating. "What members?" I wanted to scream, "the gym is COMPLETELY empty!!!" At this point Ariel is loudly letting me know that she's ready for her bottle, so we headed back to The Parent's House.
3:15 Ariel has full 3 oz bottle. She is happy until she realizes that during the gym fiasco, I lost her only pacifier. Arggghhhh!!!!
3:40 I decided we could stop by Target and get a new pacifier. But Target doesn't have any!!!! Ariel screams!!!! I use my best judgement and get another pacifier that is the same brand as her bottles. Ariel is not fooled. She screams!!!! At this point, there is nothing I can do but drive her home to Becky.
4:40 After listening to Ariel scream her head off (with Adam chiming in occassionally lest I forget he's there) and driving through horrible traffic, I got Ariel home to Becky. Le Sigh.
