7:00 Drop off. Ariel was a bit cranky, so I tried to give her a bottle. She only took 1/2 oz and spit most of it up, so I put her in the Bjorn and she went to sleep.

8:40 Got everyone in the car to take Alex to preschool. Ariel was not impressed with the car, nor the drop off.

9:00 Drove to Niwot for Adam's playdate with Fiona. Ariel cried the whole way in the car.

9:30 Ariel took a full bottle, and was much happier after that. I kept her in the Bjorn while Adam and Fiona played.

11:00 Decided it was time to leave, changed Adam and Ariel's diaper - Ariel had a poopy.

11:15 Drove to Crissy's house. Ariel was yet again unimpressed with the car ride. At Crissy's house she settledd back into the Bjorn.

12:40 Time for me to pick up Alex, but Ariel was just waking up and was ready to eat. Rather than feel her quickly and have her upset in the car, I left her with Crissy while I went to get Alex.

I hadn't seen Ariel smile before, we were really hoping this wasn't her first. I even called Becky to confirm.

Crissy got Ariel to take a full bottle (she swears it was because she heated it) and then was playing with Ariel on the floor with a stuffed penguin.



The rest of the afternoon, Crissy and I took turns holding Ariel while the boys played.

2:45 Came back home. Ariel was only unimpressed with the second half of the car ride.

3:00 Home - Ariel back in the Bjorn. She was awake for a bit, but by 3:30 was sound asleep. I put a video on for the boys and then created this very blog. How circular!
