Anyway, I hope you had a better weekend that I did. First, the boys were supposed to go to Grammie's house, but we couldn't do that because of snow storm #3. So I got my parents to watch the boys Saturday so we could go skiing. Jeremy and I drove up there, only to find out it was closed due to wind. AND we had gotten free lift tickets through Jeremy's work. So then I tried to be productive and went to Target to buy a toy organizer for Adam's room. On the way home, I got on the highway, only to end up backing up the on-ramp because the highway was shut down due to a 25 car pile up. Sunday, my photo-shoot person canceled. So we decided to go swimming and we got to the pool and they had a wait list because a life guard didn't show up. So we had to wait a while while the kids got to see the pool through the very large glass windows and see all the other kids having fun. Swimming went well, for a while anyway. Then Adam threw a fit because we wouldn't let him go down the big slide into the 5ft deep pool by himself. Then I took a free beginning ballet class in the afternoon, which was fun but I can't do a regular class due to scheduling.
7:00 Drop off - Breakfast - apples and blueberries and waffles.
7:45 Changed a poopy.
8:00 Left for stroller class in time to get gas on the way.
8:30 Super fun stroller class. Both the boys were acting up. Blah.
10:45 Got home and ate clearance Target chocolate until I felt better. Ariel took a nap.
11:00 Shower.
12:00 Ariel woke up. Lunch - sweet potatoes, string cheese and pita bread.
12:30 Changed a poopy.
Ok, now for some pictures. I had been complaining to Crissy that my house was not big enough for both boys to have toys in there rooms. Crissy though that if I moved the crib, I would have room and by golly she was right. So here is what Adam's room has looked like for the last two years:

And now:

Then:

Now - Ariel's little nursery corner:

And here's Adam's new quilt that he got from Grammie for Christmas:

Now all Adam's room needs is a truck-themed picture above the bed and real curtains instead of an old sheet.
Moving all these toys out of Alex's room made it a lot less cluttered, and now he can actually work on his train table:

And I forgot to say, I did manage to get my hair cut this weekend. It was cuter the day it was done and styled and flipped up. Unfortunately, she used a curling iron when styling, something I have not owned since the 1st Bush administration in the heyday of my high school big hair. And look at me, I've been wearing make-up this year. Crazy.

One of the toys I pulled out of Alex's room was this ball roller. Ariel really liked it, even though she can only reach the second from the bottom ramp:

2:00 Went to go get new tires. I tried last week, but they were out of my funny size. The next day (Friday, day of snow) they had said they got them in, but in fact they hadn't even ordered them. So I got to drive in the snow for nothing on my bald, slippery tires. But today they really had them. While the tires were being installed, we walked over to Safeway and the kids enjoyed some Jamba Juice and free cookies. I skipped Starbucks for a breakfast panini, which turned out to be an error in judgment.
3:30 On the way home, we picked up my contacts, ordered on Dec. 30th to use up the $200 of flex spending that somehow was not used up yet. The boys really liked playing with their legos, just like the ones at home.
4:00 Home.
4:15 Changed another poopy.
4:30 Pick-up.

I absolutely LOVE your hair. Is your hair fine? Mine is really fine and I've been wanting a cut like that but didn't know how it would work.
WOW, the bedrooms look great. I just love the new comforter and the setup. I think you'll enjoy having two rooms with toys. I'm just now experiencing it since yesterday I FINALLY got both boys rooms unpack. It is great for us!
You look fabulous... Seriously I just love the hair cut. You're doing much better then me. I still haven't put makeup on today.
I miss you guys. Ariel looks so cute playing with the ball toy. I just love her expressions.
I really need new tires too. Mine are also bald and slippery.
Your hair looks cute - and I need to look at Adam's room - it looks so cute!!
You look FABULOUS! WOW, I love it.
The kids all look great too, as always. I could not hire you as my sitter because my kids definitely aren't dressed picture-worthy every day. LOL I don't know how your sister does it. hehe
