7:40 A very late drop off. I had already been up for an hour, cooked a batch of waffles and fed the Alex breakfast. I made a mistake though and let Adam sleep in too long, I'm not used to waking up kids.
Ariel had some yogurt for breakfast.
7:50 Dashed out the door with all 3 kids. Of course it had snowed last night so we had to get on boots and hats and mittens and the leaving process took twice as long as usual. The bell rang while we were in the field but Alex sprinted and made it to his line just in time.
Then Ariel and Adam and I had to walk back home and get into the car to take Adam to school. I got him there at 8:09, school starts at 8:10. Whew.
8:15 Ariel and I came home and I had my breakfast. Ariel asked for oatmeal but only had one bite.
9:30 Left for our adventures of the day - first stop the bank. I deposited my last coins from my treasure hunting - $15.91. That brings my current found money account to $126. 21, 5 Pesos, $0.26 Canadian and two RTD tokens since July 2006. Not bad, even though Jeremy accuses me of looking homeless when I'm treasure hunting under vending machines and in pay phones.
Next stop - the car wash. Ariel even asked to pee there. And I know I just said it snowed last night, but the streets were dry and I desperately needed a vacuum.
And our last stop, the cookie store. I got a week's worth of groceries and Ariel got a sugar cookie. Ariel also ate the corner of the Cheddar Bunny box. It's a good thing I notice what she gnaws on or I'd think we'd have a mouse problem.
11:25 Got done with our errands just in time to pick up Adam.
11:45 Got home, Adam and Ariel had lunch. Ariel mainly ate chocolate pudding, Adam's request from the store. Apparently they serve pudding at ski school.
And, here's my most exciting news of the day, I bought a new potty seat and it's perfect and Ariel has no problem with it. It's by Baby Bjorn, isn't it beautiful? I love that it doesn't have any licensed characters on it.

I wish I had a slightly higher stool for Ariel, but since the seat doesn't slide around she can get up by herself. And it was SO wonderful not to clean green (but hard) poop out of the little potty this morning.

12:30 Put Ariel down for a nap.
2:30 Woke Ariel up. She had taken her dress off, but not her tights. Don't know why. But her pull up was dry!
2:40 Picked Alex up from school.
3:00 Home. After a frustrating conversation with Ariel on the details of snack (Me: You want mac & cheese for snack? Her: Snack! Me: You want a waffle like Adam? Her: Snack! Me: Do you want a banana? Her: SNACK! WAH!) she finally settled on mac & cheese.
4:15 Gave in to whining and put on a video. Adam convinced Alex that Duck Tales is not evil and now Alex has watched one tape and was willing to try another.
4:30 Pick up.

love the potty. So sorry I didnt' get a chance to call back later. A crazy afternoon was had by the Osborn's.
This is not the first time I've heard of Ariel asking for "snack" and not understanding that is not a specific food. Glad the mac and cheese worked.
I'm impressed with the new potty. Wonder what was up with the dress coming off. HEHEHE.
