Mar. 12, 2007

Stupid cheap daylight savings time.

Yeah, yeah, yeah, I managed to get up and showered before Ariel got here, but I wasn't HAPPY about it. Catch my drift?

But besides that, we had a very nice weekend. We went up for our (probable) last ski weekend. Super Grammie joined us, so we brought the kids too. Jeremy and I skied Saturday. It was a bit snowy so we left after the Adventure Rabbi Shabbat Service (which Jeremy even went to!)

We put Alex in ski school Sunday. He had fun, though I'm not sure how much progress he made. We only saw him at the end of the day, he looked pretty beat riding the magic carpet:

But he was happy at the end:

And Jeremy and I had a great day. All the snowing Saturday left about 5" of powder. Jeremy took me way up in the back bowls and it was like a whole new resort.

7:00 Ariel arrived. She didn't look to happy either.

7:15 Breakfast - sweet potatoes (which she wasn't too happy about) and hot cereal.

8:40 I had to take Alex to school because Jeremy's car was at his work since he took the bus skiing Friday and hadn't been back.

9:00 Dropped Alex off. Then I put Adam and Ariel in the stroller and went for a walk. We only went about 15 minutes before we found a park and the kids played. Well, Adam played and Ariel walked all over the place.

10:30 Got back to the car, went home.

10:45 Got home, Ariel was asleep.

12:30 Ariel woke up just in time to go back and get Alex. I only had time to give her some milk.

1:00 Pick up Alex. We played outside for a while.

2:00 Stopped by Jamba Juice on the way home. We got cookies too. The man who gave them to us said, "Here are three cookies for three handsome boys." Huh?

3:00 Got home. Ariel had some more milk and string cheese.

Does she look like a boy today?

And here's a cute video. When Ariel gets a hold of a bionicle, she makes growling noises. Ellen first pointed it out, but I noticed today that she always does it. But as you can see, the boys don't let her play for long.

And I do believe that Ariel is growing a nice afro puff just like her mama.

4:30 Pick up

Her afro puff IS coming in nicely.

And what kind of person puts their boy in pink velvety pants??

The video is adorable. Just love the gerrrrr and then Adam playing the "big brother".
