And that's how I awoke today. I mean, the second time after I turned off the alarm that Jeremy so kindly set for me. Jeremy left the house early today to go on a work ski trip. He had to take a vacation day and he didn't get a free lift ticket, but his work did hire a bus to drive employees up to Copper Mountain. So Jeremy got to go skiing and I had to make pancakes because we are out of waffles.
7:00 Ariel arrived. She was happy to have squash and then a pancake.
8:45 Left for preschool.
9:10 Got to preschool late because I keep forgetting about the construction. It took me 10 minutes to go 2 blocks. I must retrain my brain to take a different route. Arg!
9:30 PALS - Ariel was a little bit more outgoing today. And it's the cutest thing, she'll say Mae's name now, "Mae-Mae." And I'm pretty sure she says Adam and sorta Alex but she has to be prompted. And she definitely told me "Up" today.
11:00 After PALS, we had our very nice coffee lunch. Ariel didn't nap at the restaurant again, so she ate with us. She had paper:

She did not want to eat any of Adam's French toast or my potatoes. But she did have a very big piece of challah at PALS.
12:30 Back to school for Shabbat sing. Ariel is getting less shy about that too. And even tolerates one particularly friendly 2 1/2 year old (Ellen, Sam's friend :) ) .
1:15 Alex decided that he wanted to go to Ted's house for a playdate, and since that was ok with Ellen I gladly let him go.
1:30 Got home, Ariel was asleep. I had to pack for the three of us.
2:30 Ariel woke up and I fed her some yogurt, but she was very grumpy so I put her back to bed.
4:00 Pick up.
