December 6, 2007

7:00 An on time drop off which left Becky knocking on the door and Ariel asking, "Where Dee-Dee?" Jeremy was actually awake but in the shower, the rest of us were still snoozing and the house was dark.

7:15 Ariel breakfast - yogurt, syrup and one piece of waffle (used to suck up the syrup).

9:00 Stroller class. I had to take a picture of the staircase in the mall. I was trying to describe it to Jeremy yesterday and words failed me. Plus, Jeremy is still boycotting the mall and after 6 years has still never been in it.

Anyway, the staircase:

Class was harder today. Ariel did a lot of walking and Alex didn't get out the stroller. He's not feeling well, but in a very ambiguous way. Yesterday he teacher called about 20 minutes before school got out to tell me he was "droopy." He doesn't have much of a fever and no other symptoms besides being tired.

10:45 After class we got Strawberry Orange Juliuses and Ariel and I shared some pizza.

11:10 Left the mall on time.

11:30 Picked up Adam and decided that Alex should stay home today because Thursday is PE day and he probably wouldn't do well and I didn't want to get another call from the teacher.

11:45 Got home, Ariel had been asleep for most of the car ride and went in her bed.

1:00 Ariel woke up. She worked on the rest of her pizza.

2:00 Went to Target. We replaced the duplicate lego set from Grandma with an Aqua Raiders one. I'm glad I let Alex pick, he's never shown an interest in Aqua Raiders before. Then we stopped by Starbucks and they had samples of peppermint hot chocolate so all the kids got one of those and I got another gingerbread latte.

3:00 Got to Rachel's house to work on some knitting. Alex put together his new lego set and Ariel and Lilianna fought over Lilianna's toys.

4:15 Noticed Ariel's diaper leaked. Again. L loaned her some matching pink pants.

4:45 Got home, Becky was waiting for us.

the advertising on the stairs is frightening. is that new? yikes! hope Alex feels better soon. The boys need a playdate-between the two of them they probably have all the Lego sets that they both like!

ok, glad to hear the ads on the stairs ARE new. Last time we were at the mall, we thought we were just NOT observant and how could we have missed it every other time.

HA!!
