Annual Bike Spill

My last bike spill was September 12, 2009 so I guess I've been overdue. I was riding with the Rally group this morning on the dirt roads North of Boulder. I don't mind riding on dirt on my road bike, but today I wasn't paying attention. I went for my water bottle and my front wheel hit a big rut and when 90 degs. I went diagonally over the handle bars onto my right side. My head hit hard, that's why I wear a helmet. I have scraps on my knee and elbow and a bruise on my hip but nothing seems to be seriously damaged. I'm going to the chiropractor this afternoon to get my neck adjusted before the muscles tighten, I can tell I tweaked it.

And so that's my yearly reminder to pay attention when I'm riding.
