7:15 Drop off one happy, not too sick Ariel
Adam was very happy to see Ariel today (and doesn't he look a year older than last week?):

7:35 I put her in the bjorn, she fell right asleep.
8:00 Daddy took Alex to preschool.
8:25 Crissy and Gavin came over, we walked Gavin over to his preschool.
On the way, we watched a mama fox and two babies in the field:

9:10 Gavin's preschool is right by Safeway, so we of course had to get a Starbucks. I was Starbucks free for a whole week! And it turned out that it was both of ours free one, so that was a nice suprise.
9:35 Crissy fed Ariel a bottle.
10:00 We stopped by Michael's to pick out a frame (and I also went a whole week without Michaels!). Alex is insistant that I print a copy of the pump jack at the oil well in Texas. It was the first thing he asked about this morning.
10:15 Stopped by the pharmacy - see how productive Crissy is getting exercise AND running errands?
10:30 Finally start walking home. Ariel slept the whole way in the stroller.
11:00 Get home, Look how pretty Miss Ariel is today:

11:05 Crissy played with Ariel while I did the blog.
11:30 I gave Ariel two ounces and put her in the swing hoping for a nap.
Here's 2/3rds of my Texas pictures.
Texas Pictures
They ended up backwards, so if you want to see them in order, you have to start at page 10. I ran out of room, so I have to decide if I want to pay to put the rest on.
11:45 The swing didn't work, so I put Ariel back in the bjorn and she fell asleep.
12:35 I had to wake Ariel to put her in the car to go pick Alex up from school.
1:20 Home - started making a bottle and the Mary Kay lady called to check in for the party at Crissy's tonight. I forgot what I was doing and couldn't remember if I had put one or two scoops in. So I had to start again.
1:30 Ariel would only take 2 oz, when I tried to feed her more she spit it out. Crissy and I decided she's running a mild fever but I don't have an accurate thermometer so I'm not sure what it is. From experience, I would say she's just a tad warm. I haven't given her any medicine since she seems ok otherwise.
2:10 Walk to the store to run some errands.
I think Starbucks messed up my half-caf and made it full-caf. I'm VERY jittery today and it's not fun :(
Errands - pick up Alex's pump-jack picture, mail a few packages, pick up the knitting project to photograph, buy some waffles from the store.
3:00 Gave Ariel another 2 oz while the boys rode the penney horse. Alex had to get off early because he called Adam and me "a-Idiots." Sigh.
3:30 Home
4:00 I was just starting to feed Ariel a bit more when Becky showed up. It was a great day for her to come early with my whole jittery thing going on. Though I am finally starting to feel better.

Looks like a great trip - loved the pics! Ariel is a doll today (as usual).
Ariel DOES look pretty cute.
The black widow looks really freaky...
That black widow WAS freaky. And since Judy wasn't there, I called Jeremy and all he had to say was, "I always hated going to that house. It really freaked me out when I was a kid." Thanks for helping there, bud!
Ariel's outfit is adorable! Love it!
Umm... what part of Texas were you in? Snakes and black widows and tractors, oh my.
Hey Amy - we were an hour north of Austin and West Texas....
So you were sort of near Waco, non?
We were in Marble Falls, which is sorta near Waco. It's on Horseshoe Bay. It was the place that I didn't see snakes or spiders, though I did find a 6" centipede I'll post pictures of Monday. Funny story for you - a very small section of Jeremy's family are die-hard Aggies. They took a pilgrimage Aggie-land and drove through the Baylor campus for a multi-cultural experience. The rest of the family is Texas Tech - that alumni thing is strong down there, lol.
Gig 'em!
(My husband's an Aggie)
Sic 'Em!!!
(Just trying to be as cool as Tisk. LOL)
