7:00 Drop off. Asleep, Adam's room, floor, yadayada...

8:00 Wake up, 4 oz bottle

8:30 Gavin and Crissy came to play. Crissy wanted me to get a picture of Ariel's new gummy smiles, but I was too busy eBaying Mary Kay products to get my camera. Bad Wendy!

9:00 Ariel went to sleep in her carseat, the first step of our Fabulous Plan - Starbucks and library storytime.

9:30 I was holding a slightly whining Adam and suddenly he puked all over me and all over him. I managed to get us both to the shower without puking on him myself.

9:45 After Adam and I were dressed again, we decided that Crissy should take Gavin, Alex and Ariel to storytime. Crissy will keep Ariel all day, and Alex as long as necessary while I watch Adam. He doesn't have a fever, so who knows what's going on. But I did change his bed sheets yesterday, so I anticipate some bed puking later.

Thanks for helping, Crissy, it's so nice to have a friend like you!

So the rest of this blog is not about cute little Ariel. It's about a sick toddler. So if you don't like puke, then don't read anymore.

10:40 After watching some Bob the Builder, Adam came over and puked all over me. Shower #3 for the day.

11:00 While reading a book, Adam had another tiny puke. His tummy is just about empty so the towel took care of this mess. So Crissy, guess this wasn't a fluke.

The next few hours are a blur. I did almost get Adam to take a nap, but then he sat up and puked on my pillow. We got up and walked around a bit, then I sat on the brown chair. He fell asleep again, then woke and puked right in my face. At least it was mostly water. And hey, I told you to stop reading if you didn't like hearing about puke. It's currently 1:30 and Adam is laying on me asleep while I'm at the computer. I've won all the Mary Kay I need, so I guess I should do something else productive.

2:30 Adam seemed to be better, and demanded some milk, so I gave in. He had a few ounces, then had a huge puke all over me, right as Crissy was calling to see if she could keep Alex longer. Uh, yes please?

3:00 Puked on again. But only needed a new shirt. Then Adam and I took a little chair nap together.

4:40 I thought he was getting better. He went 1 1/2 hours without puking. Demanding milk and water. And then he puked all over the kitchen. At least it was on the easy clean linoleum. Oh, and a bit on the dishwasher.

5:30 I was sitting there, peacefully eating my salad, and Adam puked all over me AGAIN. At the TABLE. And Jeremy pretended not to notice.

6:15 Attempted to get Adam down for bed. He was laying there nursing, then puked all over me and the bed. I made Jeremy get dry clothes on him while I took a shower.

7:45 Adam has been sleeping for about 30 minutes but I'm not placing any bets.

Crissy - thank you so much for your candy surprise. I ate it all up :)

I'm happy I could help today. If only I could have done more to prevent your day from sucking so bad! I just hope that whatever is going on with Adam stops soon and you or the kids don't get sick too. Good luck tonight! Let's hope the sheets stay clean...

All right, Adam did puke again at 7:50pm, but he went right to sleep. He slept pretty well and around 1:00am he asked for water and nursed. He nursed a few other times and kept it all down... until 6:30am. He did throw up again, but it didn't seem as much. He just nursed again this morning, and is watching Bob. I think if this stays down he may be on the mend.

My tummy was a bit grumbly last night, and Jeremy said his was too. Alex woke up a few times asking why Gavin hit him and said it was ok if I put the barf bucket in his room, but he seems fine this morning. I feel fine today, too.

Next update - Adam hasn't throw up again, and he's down for a nap. Yay, we might have kicked it!
