7:10 Drop off

7:15 Breakfast - blueberries (baby food, not real ones) and cheerios.

8:20 Jeremy left for work and took Alex to school.

8:30 Ariel took a nap. I had several things to do during this time. First, I took a picture of my "wall of fame." I decided that I'm going to frame and hang all the pictures I've taken that I love. I envision (after many years) having this whole wall covered. Here it is now (the prints are 8x10 in 11x14 frames with UV non-reflective glass):



And speaking of the office, last night Jeremy and Alex put together the big desk. So now we have our new furniture and both computers. All we are lacking are two office chairs. Here's what it looked like 3 years ago (and 2 weeks ago):

The final step is getting rid of that piece o' crap futon and getting some decent sleeper sofa.

My next task was to finish filling out my "American Family Survey" from the census bureau. It was long and slightly complicated and a bit of a pain in the tush. Why yes, my house does have running water and sewage removal. While I was sitting at the kitchen table, Adam announced that he wanted to make a card for Ariel:



9:30 Ariel woke up, had most of a bottle.

10:00 Left for our very excting adventure of the day - grocery shopping. I wish I had brought my camera to the store, Adam and Ariel were very cute sitting in the blue truck together. Ariel sucked on a plastic bag of crazy mac noodles most of the trip.

11:15 Got home, unpacked all the grocery.

11:30 Ariel had lunch, peas. She didn't eat them as enthusiastically as she eats fruit, but she did finish them.

12:00 Another nap for Ariel.

12:45 I had to wake Ariel to get her in the car to pick up Alex from school.

1:00 Picked up Alex, and had to wake Adam from his car nap to go inside. Why is this so hard???

1:25 Got home and started a batch of challah while Ariel fed herself a bottle.

2:00 Play time! Here's Ariel's new hippy chick outfit (these are not my best work, I had to use my flash as it was cloudy and rainy today):

2:30 I tried to see if either Adam or Ariel would take a nap, but it was a no-go.

3:00 We got the challah through its two risings, and braided but not baked, loaded up everyone in the car and headed to Grandma and Grandpa's house.

3:50 Got to Grandma and Grandpa's house. Ariel and Adam fell asleep in the car, and I sent Alex in with his challah for him and Grandma to bake:



5:00 Ariel woke up first, then Adam.
