And Adam's Field Trip

Adam's class foregoed forewent skipped the classic Valentine's party and instead celebrated the Chinese New Year at Tibet's Restaurant. Because, I supposed, Tibet is part of China, though the restaurant serves (excellent) food from Tibet, Nepal and India. And also, the owners' children go to Creekside, one girl in Alex's class and one in Adam's class.

We enjoyed a fun filled bus ride to Louisville and then had the restaurant to ourselves:

The owner, Kandu Sherpa (yes, Sherpa!) serving tea in the background:

A little Tibet culture. I don't think the Chinese revere the Dali Lama so much:

Alas, we were not served yak meat, though it's on the menu. I would have tried it:

Adam chowing down on chicken tiki on the bone. Guess we aren't vegetarian anymore:

We had a fabulous brunch (ok, it was a bit hard to chow down at 10:00am) of chicken masala, spinach saag and choi mein. We were served way to much food and I started the trend of asking for take out boxes. I scored us dinner too.

And now, I am all field tripped out for a good long while.
