Legend... wait for it... Ary

For already riding 15 days this years, we've managed to have a whole lot of mediocre ski days. I try to put a positive spin and say we are just keeping in shape so when it snows, we are fit and ready to fully enjoy the day. Like today. Sarah and Devon joined us at Keystone for some legendary skiing and riding.

After an ungodly long wait in for the Outback lift, we had another wait to ride the snow cat:

For only $5 a person, you can avoid a 30 minute hike to the top of South bowl. Jeremy felt very vindicated when after a 25 minute wait, we passed people hiking that started when we got in line:

And here's the top of South Bowl with Breckenridge in the background:

I've heard of that Breckenridge place:

Getting strapped in to make fresh tracks in some serious powder:

Fresh, soft, deep powder!

Devon and Sarah:

We only made about 10 turn before we hit a serious tree run. There were pits of powder so deep, than when I fell, my arms sunk in up to my shoulder when I tried to put my hand down to get up. And then, a mellow run out:

And the day kept getting even better. After killing our legs on a couple of serious bump runs, I headed over to the NASTAR course. I'm not sure if it was because of less icy conditions due to actual snowfall or my freshly sharpened edges, but I managed to shave a few seconds off my time and get not one but TWO bronze medals. Alex's ski instructor registered him today and Alex got a bronze medal too. Is it too early to start grooming Alex for 2022?
