Guess which day was more exhausting?

The only thing on my schedule today was a 2 hour hike. I was pretty tired from yesterday so I didn't set my alarm early or anything to get this done before Jeremy went on his own bike ride. So I rallied the kids to walk with me. I was going to hike up into the hills and do a real hike but Adam wanted to go to Pearl Street. It was hard enough to get them pumped to walk anywhere, so we did Adam's idea. We made it a bit over 2 miles (in nearly an hour) before we made a pit stop at Starbucks. And we did make it to Pearl Street (in about 1:07) but I quickly saw that there was no way we would be able to walk back home. Jeremy was back at that point, so he came down and joined us for lunch, then we went to Gateway Park to play miniature golf.

I see now why I haven't done this with the kids before. As you may know, I'm kinda anal. And if you are playing golf of any sort, there should be rules and turns and general etiquette. The kids were playing like it was a hockey match, I gave up keeping score on the first hole. I think they had fun, I did not. But I tried.

Weekly Totals:

Bike: 138.4 miles
