I was so crazed getting packed for our quickie weekend trip that I never did blog on Friday. So here it is Tuesday and I'm trying to remember back so it will be an abbreviated entry.

In the morning, we biked over to the Rocket Ship Park, which is about 3 miles away. Alex made a huge production of how hot and tired he would be but it's mostly down hill there so he was fine. I packed lunches for the park and all Adam and Ariel wanted to do was snack. Alex did the best playing, Ariel hardly did anything at all. We were supposed to be meeting one of Adam's classmates for a playdate, but he never showed. And that was ok. This kid was one that was specifically not invited to Adam's birthday party but he (yes, the 4 year old) called the other day and asked to play with Adam, so I arranged this. Adam was ok with the playdate, but only Alex kept asking when the boy would be there.

After the park we rode home, stopping half way for DQ. Ariel ate the chocolate off her sundae but didn't finish the ice cream.

And then Ariel napped when we got home.
