Well, today was pretty darn fantabulous. It started out with an early morning track workout, and dad was ever so kind to babysit while my husband goes on a backpacking trip (yeah, I didn't know he backpacks either). The workout was the same, slow and hard. And frustrating. I tried my asmtha inhaler for the first time and while it didn't seem to help during the workout, I didn't cough afterwards like I usually do.

7:45 I got home, all three kids were alive. However, Alex was not breakfasted.

7:55 Took Alex to school.

8:05 Got home, I had my second hobbit breakfast and then Ariel and I showered.

9:30 I had a doctor's appointment. Adam and Ariel were great, and were rewarded with stickers. Unfortunately, Ariel lost her Nemo sheet before she could stick them all over her clothes and skin ala Adam.

10:00 I needed another appointment, which I was able to make for 11:00 so to kill time we went to the running store and I finally got my heart rate monitor.

After some hemming and hawing between the Garmin and Timex, I went with the Garmin. The Timex had a small watch, but that was because you had to carry the GPS receiver elsewhere on your body.



10:45 After that transaction, we stopped by Moe's and the kids each got a mini cream cheese bagel.

11:00 Doctor appointment #2. I won't bore you with the details but a nurse took Adam and Ariel to color while I had an examination.

11:45 Finally got home. Lunch - a fruit leather, baby cheese and a few bites of mac & cheese

12:30 Down for a nap, though it sounded like sleep took a bit longer. While Ariel napped, Adam watched a video and I napped too.

2:30 Woke Ariel up.

2:40 Alex pick up. We played for a bit on the playground but left when Ariel through a ball at my head and I repremended her and she had a nervous breakdown. Geez, it's not like I smacked her or anything.

3:40 Home - Ariel and Adam killed timed by making one of their infamous "spaceship" pillow forts

4:30 Pick up.
