7:something Drop off. I was at a super fun track workout. We ran a 5k on the track, and while I was not up with the fast girls who run 21:00's, I did respectable for me. And I didn't die.

7:50 Got home way to late. I threw Alex's lunch together and then got the kids out the door. It's Adam's first day of school!

Jeremy and I tossed Alex onto the soccer field and then rode Adam and Ariel up to Adam's school. Adam was glad to see his teacher but more eager to go look for new work (and eager is good in his class, no less than 3 kids were crying):



8:20 Got back home. Ariel wanted yogurt and I didn't have any so she had some pudding. And a string cheese. At least she ate something for breakfast. Then we took a shower.

And then I needed to do some housework. Here's how a lot of my morning went:



That time, I mildly reprimanded Ariel for closing the office door (causing her to be shut inside) and she lost it. For a good 20 minutes. In between bouts of hysteria, she did help me vacuum.

11:15 Went to the post office and then picked up Adam from school.

11:45 Back home - lunch. Ariel had ravioli and grapes.

12:30 Down for nap.

2:30 Woke Ariel up and we picked up Alex from school. Alex had requested that we go to the park and so we did. Alex spent the entire hour perched in this tree:



Yup, there's Adam:



And there's Ariel at the top of the curly slide. She and Adam played great this afternoon. They spent the whole time climbing up and down the curly slide (and I mean the slide, they were not using the stairs. Because I'm that mom.)



4:00 Early pick up.

After Ariel left, we went to pick some zucchini for dinner. This is what happens when you don't check for a few days:
