Ariel refused breakfast no less than 3 times and then I dropped it.
7:55 Took Alex to school.
8:30 Left for our adventure of the day - swimming. I've been slacking with the bike but today we all loaded up in the trailer.
9:00 Dropped Adam and Ariel off at the rec center daycare. I've never used the facility, but they marched in like they did it every day. Then I did my swim workout (I'm up to 2500 yards now!).
10:00 Retrieved the kiddos and we all went swimming together. We went to East today, as North is closed for cleaning. It doesn't have as many cool features but the slide pool is not as deep so Adam could do it. Unfortunately, the slide has some crazy turns and twice Adam got flipped upside down and head first. Which is not only scary, but gets a reprimand from a lifeguard. He went again after the first flip but was done after the second. Ariel had a big tripod seat (me) with no flipping and would have done the slide forever. I cut her off after about 7 times.
11:20 Left the rec center.
11:40 Home and lunch. Ariel ate an ENTIRE can of annie's spaghetti o's, plus 1/2 a container of yogurt.
12:15 Down for nap.
2:30 Woke Ariel up (wet pullup) to get Alex.
2:40 Picked up Alex, and his friend Gabriel. Alex had two best friends last year, Henry and Gabriel. Henry just moved to Texas and Gabriel is in a different class this year, but I guess they see each other at lunch and recess and wanted a playdate.
2:50 Got home. The boys immediately went to Alex's room to play with legos and I distracted Ariel by baking. First we put the challah in the bread machine, then we made zucchini cookies (those damn zucchinis just won't stop!).
Ariel "helped" me form the cookies by rolling together two chocolate chips and a pinch of dough, which I quickly incorporated into a real cookie (I don't think she noticed).
Then it was time to get them out of the oven:

When will the cookies be ready?!?

Ah, here's the little bitty cookie I baked:

4:00 Pick up. Becky got sent home with cookies. And if you come to my house, you can have cookies too. Or a zucchini :)

Yeah, so the cookies were really good. I ate most of them on the way home. Heh.
