But lest you think Alex's a little slow, he's showing great interest in atomic theory. This weekend he wanted to know all about atoms and electrons and protons and electrical charge and molecules. And FYI, there's not a lot of learning material out there for a 6 year old interested in atomic theory.
And Jeremy's Adam story: Jeremy was taking Adam to school and Adam said to him, "Do you know what' s in your head?" Jeremy said, "What?" expecting some sort of school related tidbit and Adam answered very seriously, "A coconut." Which, by the way, would explain A LOT about Adam.
7:25 Late drop off. Ariel said she wanted her bogurt but she didn't even take one bite. She didn't eat anything else either. She was a bit clingy this morning but not whiny.
8:45 Left for stroller class. Since it was so warm we did the class outside. Ariel was fine just sitting in the stroller for about an hour, even when we stopped to do strength training. Ariel does not normally like to be confined to the stroller.
9:50 Ariel asked to go potty and then didn't want to be put down. So we left class and took an early break at Starbucks. We were going to the Starbucks outside the mall and FYI that one is closing soon and doesn't have bakery items. I've heard rumors that they are going to tear down the whole outside mall area except maybe the movie theater because the shifty soil has caused so many cracks and foundation issues that it just has to be redone.
By the time we got to the inside Starbucks, Ariel was looking pretty pathetic. She felt pretty warm too, by my informal temperature taking method (kiss to forehead):

She even dozed a bit.

We hung out at Starbucks for a while since we didn't have enough time to go home and there was nothing else to do. Ariel was content to lay on me with chococat blankie and Alex ate his rice crispy treat (trying to get him to stop the expensive crepe obsession):

11:00 Left the mall.
11:30 Adam pick up.
11:45 Got home. Ariel happily went down for a nap again. She wasn't acting like she was completely miserable or in pain so I didn't give her any medication.
While Ariel napped Adam watched Ice Age and I cleaned the bathrooms and did other exciting chores. Which is sort of a pity being what a nice day it was.

2:30 Woke Ariel up. She was not happy about it but was stoic enough when I told her I'd carry her to Alex's school.
2:45 Home with Alex. Ariel and I took a little doze on the couch. She might be pathetic today but she it was nice for her to be cuddly.
3:20 Pick up.
