7:15 Drop off. Ariel had some bogurt and then some fresh pancakes and dip.
8:00 Dropped Alex off on time.
8:11 Dropped Adam off barely on time. But he didn't need to go to the office to get a tardy slip.
8:15 Instead of going to Starbucks, I went home had coffee. Go me! Not only did I save $3.50 but I save $3 calling by not using my cell for my daily Crissy call.
9:00 Left for our adventure of the day, Kangaroo Kingdom with Lilianna!
Ariel trying to push Lilianna down the slide:

Ariel trying to jump on Lilianna's head:

Ariel is not the only toddler who wants her picture taken so she can see it on the camera:

And this is how you play basket ball:

I also took a few pictures on why it's not a good idea to wear a party dress to Kangaroo Kingdom but after downloading them to my computer I decided that they were not internet appropriate. Let's just leave it that everyone present knew Ariel was wearing her Minnie Mouse underwear.
10:45 Left the Kingdom early so we could go to the store to get flour so I could make challah tonight. I also thought I should get Ariel a snack so she didn't fall asleep on an empty belly. I decided bagels sounded good so I got bagels, cream cheese and eggs (those were for the challah too). And Ariel took two bites of the bagel and demanded a cookie. Then I got out to the car and realized I forgot the flour so we had to run back in and buy that.
The checker said, "Are you having a good day, young lady?" and I said,"Are you talking to me or my niece?" He said me so I smiled prettily at him. Then he said, "1963?" And I said, "Wut?" "1963? Were you born in 1963?" Dude, you just completely ruined my day.
11:30 Picked up Adam, Ariel was asleep.
11:40 Got home. Transfered Ariel to her bed and even changed her into pullups without her waking up. And realized that somehow I managed to leave the flour in the cart when I put Ariel in the car. D'oh!
2:30 Woke Ariel up, (wet pull up).
2:35 Picked up Alex from school. We played a while then Alex and Adam went home with Gabriel and I went home with Ariel.
3:15 Ariel had lunch - spaghetti o's.
4:00 Pick up.
And summary of my husband-free week (I didn't advertise that too loudly on the blog in case someone took that as Please, Come Rob Me). It was not that bad. In fact, I've come to the conclusion that Jeremy must be a big slacker because except for getting both kids to school on time, it's been easy. But as Crissy pointed out, nobody puked the boys are no longer getting up at the ungodly hour of 5:30am. If I had to get up that early for a week my attitude would be different. But hey, I do miss Jeremy, and that should count for something, right?
