7:10 Drop off. Breakfast - bogurt and pancakes. The boys seem to be on a waffle strike. Ariel really has no say.
7:50 Took Alex to school in the wet snow. Ariel manage to soak her shoes and her pants up to her knees. And when I pulled her out of a deep puddle she threw a temper tantrum on the wet asphalt. Sigh.
8:00 Quick morning destroying my house. Thankfully I remembered to shut Alex's door so the damage was isolated to the living room.
10:00 Super fabulous trip to the cookie store!
This week's menu:
White bean enchiladas
Pesto/goat cheese/sun dried tomato pizza on homemade crust
spinach lasagna
Store tortellini with jarred pasta sauce (everyone gets as easy night, right?)
plain salmon, asparagus, challah
And then Ariel rode the horse three times in a row:
11:15 Didn't time the grocery store just right so we waited in front of Adam's school for 15 minutes. Better early than late, right? Ariel entertained herself with a piece of bubble gum with she did NOT swallow. First time on record with me!
11:30 Adam got out of school.
11:45 Home and lunch - Ariel had apple/blueberry sauce and some spaghetti o's.
12:00 Down for nap, not exactly willingly. Adam and I took a nap too. Adam went to bed late because he's developed an insect phobia. Unfortunately, it's that time of year when our house is invaded by ants in search of... we don't know what, but eventually they realize we don't have it and they leave. But it's going to be a long month.
Ariel woke up with a wet pull up. And then... a very boring squabbling afternoon was had by all.
4:20 Pick up
Of note - one teeny tiny pee pee accident. Hardly worth mentioning.
