8:55 Ariel pooped.
9:00 Left to go to them mall very late. The pooping through us off schedule.
9:05 Gassed up my car to the tune of $69.44. Which reminds me of an old Seinfeld/American Express commercial... In the commercial, Jerry is gassing up his little red convertible. He has a special talent, he can stop the pump at exactly $20. And once he proves this talent, he pumps in more gas to make the total a random number like $20.44 because he is, after all, paying with his credit card. At the time, the commercial baffled me. I was driving my 12 gallon Honda Civic and was lucky to put $12 of gas. I could not fathom how Jerry was putting $20 into a little red sports car. Could. Not. Fathom. And back to today, if gas really goes up to $4/gallon it will cost me $100 to fill up.
Which brings me to the question, will I need to change my driving habits? I don't know yet. Going to the stroller class at the mall is a 17 mile round trip (because yes, I'm a nerd and measured it today). I do it twice a week, about 8 times a month. At $3.43/gallon, that's $23/month. Oh well, I'll stop going to class in the summer anyway, so I guess it's a moot point.
9:20 Caught up with the stroller class. I just missed warm up, I got to do plenty of strength training and 15 minutes of walking.
10:45 After class we had lunch at the food court. I would like to point out, I DID NOT get Starbucks. Or dessert. Just saying.
In Alex's lunch box he had cantaloupe/strawberries/bananas, matzah with both strawberry cream cheese and charoset, nuts and M&Ms and a macaroon. And a small plug for the laptop lunchbox system - not only is it hippy dippy and waste free, it's handy too.

Ariel just had gold fish and apricot sauce.

11:30 Adam pick up.
11:45 Got home. Ariel was not asleep but she went potty and went down for her nap easily.
1:50 Woke Ariel up so we could go to Alex's African performance.
2:00 Notes from the Kindergarten Performance:
1. Ariel sat nicely on my lap the entire time. She was probably still in shock after being woken up early.
2. While the art was African themed, the music was not. Still, the macaroni necklaces lent an air of authenticity.
3. A video would have done better justice. Trust me.
Alex is on the right end in the maroon shirt.

2:45 Got home. The kids played outside. Ariel possibly ate dirt. They had some popsicles.
3:45 Kids played inside. Ariel probably did not eat any dirt.
4:30 Pick up.
