7:00 Drop off.

Ahhh, it was a nice to not have to go to swimming this morning. I made pancakes and scrambled farm eggs. Ariel had blueberries and half a pancake and no eggs.

7:45 Changed a poopy.

At breakfast, Alex asked a profound question, "Mommy, why are there no baby chickens in our eggs?" Yikes, too early for that (both ages and time wise). I said that there needed to be a mommy chicken and a daddy chicken to put a baby chicken in an egg and Alex said, "I wonder how they close the egg up?" But at least he dropped the subject after that.

8:45 Left for preschool.

9:00 School - Ariel and Adam hung out with me for a bit while I finished photographing some of the pre-k kids. The school is going to have a graduation display and I'm taking pictures. I got 2 of the 5 missing kids plus two retakes of kids that I wasn't happy with before, before it was time to go to PALS.

9:30 PALS - Ariel had a good day. She enjoyed playing, even when she was throwing the beans out of the sensory table.

10:15 I made a phone call to the swimming instructor. She wanted Alex to come to a swim class today, but it was before school got out. Alex's class was making the challah for the last time and I didn't want him to miss it. The instructor told me to come next week, but I told her that we can't do a class during school time. Oh, and Alex decided to do lessons again next week.

10:40 I finally got pictures of 2 more kids when the showed up to school. Who sends their kids to school an hour and a half late (I found out this was common)?

11:00 After PALS Ellen and I decided to go to Einstein bagels instead of our normal restaurant due to our unpleasant experience last week. And Einsteins is conveniently located next to Starbucks. Ariel had some cheese from her egg and cheese bagel sandwich and some milk.

12:10 On the ride back to school, Ariel fell asleep.

12:25 When we got back to school, I tried to wake up Ariel. My plan was to have her sleep in the afternoon, not through Shabbat Sing. And my plan was very important. After carrying her around like a sack of potatoes and then trying to get her to sleep walk, she finally woke up.

12:30 Shabbat sing. Ariel still likes Sing, even when she's tired. Maybe it's because Ted and Sam and Alex are there and they try to make her laugh.

1:00 After school we played outside for a while. It was HOT today, in the upper 80's.

2:00 Got home. Ariel had a quick lunch of apricots and yogurt and then I took some quick pictures.

I'm a bit sad that Ariel's wardrobe is way cooler than mine, but I wouldn't look good in any of her hip clothes anyway.

The Ariel went down for a nap. Nap was tough, sometime between leaving for school and arriving at school this morning, we lost her pacifier. I looked everywhere and could not find it. So Ariel went down for a nap without it. She complained for a while, but was tired enough that it wasn't long before she was asleep.

3:55 Ariel woke up crying.

4:00 Pick up. Yay!

very cute outfit indeed. Did Einstein bagels treat you nicer?
I sometimes brought Gavin to school 1/2 hour late but that was because it was easier for ME on those days. I can't imagin 1 1/2 hours late. Class is too short and the kid free time is too precious :-)

I don't know how but somehow my name changed to Crissy from Christine. I've tried to fix this a LONG time ago to no avail. I wonder how it magically happened now??? Weird, but good!
