Happy 18 months old to Ariel!

7:00 Drop off.

7:40 I took the boys to swimming and Jeremy fed Ariel hot cereal and blueberries.

Swimming was ok, the actual getting there was not fun. Alex was back to freaking out again and making the whole morning miserable. When we finally talked about it, I think he was nervous about doing something new, since we talked about this being his first stroke class. But once he understood it was still the same instructor and a 10 minute lesson he was ok.

Adam did great. I got in the pool with him and he swam well and floated well. This is definitely our last week of lessons. Alex's stroke lesson was mostly working on kicking better.

8:40 Stopped at Starbucks. I got a mocha, no one else got anything.

9:00 Preschool. We hung out a bit as I was hoping to get one more picture of a pre-k kid. I retook Alex's too:

The girl I was hoping to get doesn't come on Mondays, so we left.

9:30 Got home. Ariel fell asleep in the car, transfered to her crib.

I took a picture of Adam for his birthday invitation:

12:00 Ariel finally woke up. She had some string cheese but didn't care for spaghetti-o's. She also didn't fall for my trick of dipping strawberries in chocolate. For that matter, neither did Adam. What kid wouldn't like a strawberry?

1:00 Picked Alex up from school.

1:15 Met Becky at the doctor's office. And here's the part of the blog that Ellen said would have lots of CAPITAL letters and EXCLAMATION POINTS!!! So I check in with the doctor and the desk clerk informs me that Ariel is the only one who actually has an appointment. Now, in January after Alex's check up I spent 10 minutes scheduling this appointment. It was a big ol' pain in the ASS because they don't do many afternoon physicals and it's hard to book 3 appointments back to back. So imagine my ANGER today when they told me neither of my kids had an appointment. And you know what, I was the one that booked it in the first place, how odd is it that ARIEL's was the only one correct? And then I was told they couldn't fit me in because that would mess up the doctor's entire afternoon schedule. HOW IS THAT *MY* PROBLEM? And then they accused ME of messing up when booked the appointments. ARRRGGHHH!!!!!

So that it, I'm done. After 5 years, I'm leaving this office. This is not the first time we've had scheduling issues. We've had this happen before, and we've had several appointments canceled. And I won't have to have the same conversations over and over with the doctor ("Jeremy is HOW tall?"). So yeah, it's going to be another big ol' pain in the ASS to get set up with another doctor but I'm not going back there. Hmph.
