Here's Dad coming into Ward. Notice the people walking behind him. Even though it's really steep there, Sweets don't walk (though apparently the older Sweets stop every 2 minutes to get their heart rates down).

Dad riding by the "Congested Area" sign. Tell me, how congested can a mountain town of 170 people get???

Our finisher picture:

I wasn't too sore, but I was tired. In the evening we went to Jack and Jason's house for a ride celebration BBQ.
Sunday morning was Alex's first day of Sunday school. He had a great time and can't wait to go back. I had a great time too, I went to Starbucks with Ellen and other moms. And Sunday afternoon was Sam's 4th birthday party. He had it in a park with a jumpy castle and it was a big success, even though it was a tad cold.

And here are Jack and Jason, who have CF and are the reason Dad and I rode:

All the pictures are here.
7:10 Drop off.
7:30 Breakfast - chocolate chip waffles.
8:30 Down for a nap.
10:00 Ariel woke up. I decided to meet Ellen at the Hippie Cafe for brunch. But when I got in the car (it's raining and cold today) I discovered that my battery was dead. Apparently if you leave a door open (even if the overhead light is off) and don't drive your car for 10 days, you made kill your battery. Sigh. Luckily Ellen came and picked us up.
We had a nice lunch. But either I'm tired or slightly illiterate because I ordered the ranch eggs with ham. But that worked out ok because apparently Ariel likes ham. If I had creative titles for my daily blogs, today would have been, "Ariel, now with more pork!"

Alex had toad in a hole for lunch. That's actually just toast with a fried egg in the middle.

Then I dropped Ellen off at my house and then picked Adam up from school. Here's Ariel in Mae's carseat:

11:35 I dropped Adam and Ariel off with Ellen and walked Alex to school.
12:00 Called AAA to get someone to jump my car. My car was dead in the garage which meant we were going to jump it, we we have to take all the bikes out of the garage and then maneuver Jeremy's car in.
12:30 AAA called and very quickly jumped my car with his extra long cables. And then I had to let it run for 25 minutes which probably negated a lot of the saved driving in the last week. Sigh.
1:45 Adam and Ariel were bored and I was tried to order picture for my senior and Ellen so I put in Barny. Yay Barny!
2:30 Went to go pick up Alex.
2:50 Got home. Alex said that they talked about Rosh Hashana in class today. How diverse :)
4:00 We played a rousing game of "Where's Nuk?" And by rousing, I mean screaming. I did not find it. I'm ready to not have to look for it anymore (hint hint).
4:30 Pick up.
