Happy Yom Kippur, everyone. We've had some nice holidays. Alex went with me to family services and did pretty well. And I like family services because they are approximately 12 hours shorter than the regular ones. I guess I also have the attention span of a 5 year old.

I did a family shoot Sunday afternoon. I forgot how hard it is to try and get 4 people to look nice all in the same frame. I think this is my favorite of the session, I just know the look that the parents are exchanging.

Ariel had an exciting weekend too. Becky and Carl to her to the CU/Ohio Miami game. Becky sent me this picture from her Iphone:



7:00 Drop off.

7:30 Breakfast - hot cereal

8:00 We had a quiet morning with just Ariel and Alex. I proofed some pictures, then cleaned up the house. The kids amused themselves.

10:45 Left the house. The only interesting thing today was that it rained ALL DAY. Which is pretty weird for Colorado in general and even stranger in the fall. We stopped by the post office and I mailed some pictures, and then we went by Wild Oats to get some halibut for dinner. Fresh halibut is very expensive.

11:30 Picked up Adam in the pouring rain. Then I had to drive Alex to school and run him under the umbrella.

11:50 Home. Ariel and Adam had lunch, mac & cheese.

12:15 Put Ariel down for a nap and then I made some bread.

2:15 Ariel woke up (and also fell out of the pack-n-play) before it was time to go, which was nice. Well, the falling wasn't nice.

2:30 It was only sprinkling so we could all walk to school to get Alex. Ariel walked the whole way there and the whole way back and went into every puddle she could find. She got her pants and socks soaking wet.

2:45 Got home. Then we left for the grocery store.

3:00 The grocery store was abnormally busy, or at least I thought it was for that time of day. It was a big trip but all the kids were tolerable, with cookies of course.

4:10 Got home. Ariel found some puddles she hadn't properly explored yet:







4:30 Pick up.
