Ariel wasn't hungry for breakfast, but she did eat some waffles at some point.
9:00 I walked Alex next door for a playdate and then I put Ariel down for a nap. She thought about climbing out of the pack-n-play again but I moved the table that's next to it and now I don't think she can do it anymore. At any rate, she fell asleep and I had 2 hours of kid free time. I ate breakfast, read the paper and then read my book. As you can see by my exciting new blog feature, I'm reading A Thousand Splendid Suns.
10:50 Ariel woke up and we went next door to get Alex.
Alex came home and had lunch. Ariel had some yogurt with him.
11:15 Biked up to Adam's school, then dropped Alex off.
On the ride home, I heard Adam say to Ariel, "See, we dropped Alex off at school." And Ariel replied, "Bye-bye, Alex."
11:50 Got home. Made mac & cheese but Ariel wouldn't eat it.
Then we went outside so I could empty the sandbox that filled with rainwater yesterday. Ariel decided to help me and climbed right in, shoes and all. We played outside for awhile.
2:30 Went and picked Alex up from school.
I got a delivery this afternoon, a big box full of cat litter. Kids love boxes:

All the kids love boxes. Why do we buy them toys?

Alex posing for me:

Adam telling me that, "One thing we did today in school was circle time."

And Ariel does more than push babies in strollers and comb My Little Ponies' manes:

And then they all poured over a Pottery Parn Kids catalog. They are looking at a super hero bedding set.

3:30 I put a Blue's Clues video in that held Ariel's attention for a bit.
4:30 Pick up.
