BEWARE OF THE IDES OF MARCH!!!

Let's see, stories from yesterday first. Hmmm, Crissy told me she went to Starbucks yesterday and befriended the Grumpy Old Man, using suduko. She said he asked her about the puzzle she was working on and they had a nice chat and he was very friendly. Interesting development....

I got this email clarification from my father in law:
"The correct Detroit name is Rufus Dupree Washington
G---. It takes into consideration the French
background and intense patriotism of the area."
Glad that's cleared up. Might be a bit of a mouthful for Adam though.

7:05 Drop off. She was awake but content.

7:30 Less content, I took her out of the carseat.

7:45 Bottle and Zantac. Kept it down ok.

8:00 A little nail clipping party. I could have sworn Becky said she was going to do that Monday....

8:15 Put her down for a nap (and clipped my boy's nails too)

9:05 She peeped, but I put her pacifier back in and she went back to sleep.

10:00 Becky, what do you think of this?

10:20 Bottle

10:50 Go to mall.

11:05 Get to mall. We came for haircuts, but while we waited we went to the play area. Here's Adam and his illegal snacks again:

Jeremy wanted to know why Adam was wearing business casual today. (There is no reason, it was on the top of the clean laundry pile. And it's cute.)

While the kids played, I changed a poopy and while I was at it put on some dry clothes. On Ariel, not on me.

Then we went to get haircuts. Alex was a trooper. Told the woman his job is to make fish out of his fish parts. Told her he was 4 several times.

And then it was Adam's turn. Adam was not a trooper:

He only cried like this a bit, but he let us know how unhappy he was with this activity.

After the haircut, I had to wake Ariel and take her out of the bjorn so I could comfort Adam. I put her in my stroller for the first time and she thought itwas pretty darn cool.

12:25 Lunch at the food court. Cheese pizza for me, mac & cheese for the boys.

12:45 Hung out at the pet store while Ariel had a bottle. Ok, so yeah, we had cookies. So what!

On our way out, I caught my self staring at this Hollister maniquin. It makes me blush. Isn't it a bit suggestive?

1:15 Left the mall.

1:35 Got home, Ariel asleep in carseat.

2:50 Ariel was just waking up, just in time to go to the doctor's.

3:05 Get to the doctor's office. Becky had already checked in, and they called Ariel's name just as I got there. Becky went in without me, and then I couldn't get back to her room. They made me just through hoops to prove that I wasn't coercing Becky to get into her waiting room. So no picture of Ariel on the scale, but she was up to 10 lbs 4 oz.

Adam got weighed next, he was 21 lbs 11.5 oz. Up a pound in a month.

I finally got in (I told Becky that if they gave me too much crap I would tell them I just wanted to be in the room so that I could have some adult conversation for the 45 minutes they were going to make us wait) and we waited. Ariel had a bottle. Then I got my camera out.

3:50 The doctor finally came in. Checked Ariel out, she looked fine. Said she wasn't concerned about the volume of spit up as long as she was gaining and content. Said Ariel had a big head, which led to a conversation about the size of Carl's head, which Becky and I laughed at even though it was not supposed to be funny.

4:10 I ducked out before Ariel got her shots, but I heard her piercing wails as I made our next appointments.
