Mar. 28, 2006

Tally-ho and good morning. Not sure what we are doing today, but despite Alex's pleading I do know we are NOT going back to the zoo.

7:00 Drop off. I was running really late today. Luckily Ariel was asleep and stayed asleep for the most part (I did hear her peep a bit, but she went back to sleep).

8:00 Jeremy was hanging around this morning because he has some plan of bike riding after work yada yada. Whatever, I had him take the boys outside so I could work on today's suduko puzzle. I have no idea why I've been getting Tuesday paper all of a sudden, but at least I'm not paying for it. And this was an easy puzzle and after 30 minutes I found I screwed up. I'm a suduko failure! (though I did finish that hard one I started yesterday.)

8:30 Ariel woke up, 3 oz bottle. Pretty spitty.

8:55 Exosaucer

9:15 Bjorn

9:30 Here's what's cooking at my house. The Bare Bottom Bandit is raiding the silverware drawer:

Alex is insisting that we get a real baby chicken so he can put it in this fine nest he constructed:

9:35 Ariel asleep in bjorn. I surfed the interweb and then messed around with my camera.

10;15 Ariel woke up.

10:35 Messed around with Ariel and my camera:

10:50 3oz bottle. Less spitty.

Hello? [tap tap] Is this thing on? Where is everyone? Someone make a comment please!!!

(Thanks for throwing me a bone. Apparently I'm needy today.)

11:05 Bjorn.

11:45 The big people ate lunch.

12:30 I tried to put Adam down for his nap with Ariel in the swing, but Adam didn't fall asleep and Ariel started fussing.

12:45 Plan B - Outside

12:50 Before Ariel was really excited about Plan B, she needed her bottle. I forgot and gave her 4 oz. Becky, I really think she's doing better on 3. I'd rather give her 4 3oz bottles than 3 4 oz bottles. Can you make her bottles 3oz please?

Ariel hung out fo a bit while the boys dug in the garden (Alex is making a bee home, whatever than means) and I actually potted the spider plants I've had in water for months.

1:30 Ariel was done, so we went inside. Before I took down my set-up, I did a few more pictures.

1:55 Asleep in bjorn again.

2:15 Ok, we finally got out of the house. We walked to the ice cream parlor and since Alex walked it wasn't really exercise, but it was getting out in the fresh air. I had s'mores ice cream and Alex had vanilla. I'm begining to suspect he's not my child.

Next we ran into the yarn store because I needed a new yarn needle. The lovely yarn store ladies gave me one for free. See, that's what you get when you are a regular customer. Special treatment. And I do feel special.

And last, we ran into the grocery store so I could get Adam a free cookie (he doesn't like ice cream at all, DEFINATELY not my child). I also somehow ended up with a bag of Kisses and a bag of Peanut Butter Kisses. It would have been wrong to get a cookie without buying anything, right?

And then we walked home. Slower than we walked there, despite my efforts to convince Alex he was a bat and to fly home as fast as he could.

4:00 2 oz bottle. It was going to be a 3 oz bottle, but somehow I didn't screw the nipple on, so after I shook it and took the cap off, there was nothin' up there and I pour an ounce on my pants and the chair. At least I didn't get Ariel in the face, which is what should have happened if I had any sort of aim.

And Becky, there's a perfectly logical reason why your daughter's head is red and smells like salad dressing. See, I started picking at her cradle cap. She didn't mind, really, and it made me so happy. So then I decided to do it the right way, I put vegetable oil on her hair, then massaged it with a baby brush. You might want to bath her tonight, she a tad slimy. And don't let Carl hurt me, I swear she's fine.

4:30 Pick up. On small baby with a red head.

PS - I didn't find her cranky at all today. About average, I'd say.

Ah, finally. Hi Everyone!

I don't know about Suduko. I don't think Crissy has easy internet access and where the heck is dad? I haven't seen him here since they got back.

Dad probably already forgot about the blog commenting. I think he needs to be singled out again.
