7:15 Hardy breakfast of mushed apricots and oatmeal.
7:30 I left Jeremy in charge for 2 minutes and in that time Ariel cracked open her juice, spilled it all over the floor and sat in it. But don't worry Becky, I washed her pants for you, while I did my 3 loads of laundry (and yes Crissy, TWO of those were Jeremy's).
8:00 I checked my email, stroller class was canceled. I think I need to find a new exercise alternative. Tuesday/Thursday has been hard for me with all three kids, and class seems to be canceled nearly as much as it's not. If only there wasn't 12 feet of snow...
8:30 Put Ariel down for a nap. She was pretty cranky until I gave her some hippy ear drops, then she fell right to sleep. I showered AND I managed to shave, too.
9:45 Ariel woke up, we got ready for our playdate at Ted's house.
10:30 Playdate. We have know Ted since he and Alex took a Kindermusik class together 2 1/2 years ago. They are in the same preschool class but don't hang out together because Ted already knew the boys in the class from last year. But Ted's mom, Ellen, and I have been hanging out this semester and it turns out Ted and Alex both share a love for Bioncles, so we set up this playdate. It went very well. We had lunch there too, but Ariel would only eat a bagel.
1:30 Left the playdate. I stopped at Starbucks and ended up getting the boys donuts and hot chocolate. Ariel also had a hot chocolate. Well, two actually, if you count the one she spilled all over the floor.
2:30 I had a bit of a bermuda triangle experience getting out of Starbucks, but we eventually got un-lost. Both Ariel and Adam fell asleep in the car, but only Adam stayed asleep. I put Ariel in the crib with more ear drops but she never did go back to sleep.
4:00 Pick up.
We are in the middle of a near record amount of snow on the ground, here are the stats today:

And now I'd like to leave you with a little photo essay that I shot this afternoon that I call "Snow." (Sounds better than "Nasty White Sh*t that Won't Go Away," huh?)

I hope Ariel is feeling better.
Which Starbucks did you get lost leaving? Haven't you been to all of them many times before?
The snow pics are good. Don't worry, you only have 13 days before you get to come to MD. We don't have snow here. We do have an extremely thin and melting FAST layer of ice this morning. Schools are delayed 2 hours. It is 8am and I just went out to check the ice. It is already melting on the cars. The side streets are mostly just wet. I'm enjoying watching the Marylanders freak out about winter weather. I turned on the news and they were going on about what to keep in your car in case you get stuck in the snow. FUNNY :-)
I was at the Safeway in Superior. Now do you see how Superior might be a sort of Bermuda triangle?
I asked Ellen if she heard that rumor about the drive thru there, and she had heard it too, but it's never materialized.
