Crissy's comment yesterday made me realize I didn't do the Adam Locked in the Bathroom story very well. What really happened was more like this:

Adam: Help, I can't get out of the bathroom!
Me: You need to turn that thing in the middle to unlock the door.
Adam: This thing?
Me: Yes!
Adam: OK.
Me: You didn't turn it!

And again and again and again. Until he actually did it.

And, just to let you know, I messed around with the pin-key again last night and got it to work, on the off-hand chance that this happen again. Oy.

And one more Adam story. Yesterday in the car, out of the blue, Adam announced, "When I grow up, I want to be an airplane." I tried to get him to say that again for Jeremy this morning, but he's already upgraded to space shuttle.

And speaking of shuttles, here's an Alex story. Today, Alex told me that the canyon on Mars is soooo big it would go all the way from New York to California. Then he told me that astronauts should explore that canyon to find out how it was made. Then he said he's going to be an astronaut that goes to Mars. Perhaps a slightly more realistic career goal than Adam's.

7:10 Drop off. Changed a poopy diaper. Thanks Becky and Ariel!

Breakfast - mushed blueberries and waffles. And cod liver oil.

8:15 Left for mall.

8:30 My stroller workout was severely compromised by Ariel's new found walking trick. First, she freaked out when the boys got to push their strollers and she had to sit in one. Luckily, Alex tired of his before we even got inside the mall. So Ariel pushed. And pushed and pushed and pushed. I weighted it down with my water because she was pushing down too much and tipping it.



And at some point she had another one of those explosive poopies that required a pant change.

10:00 After my less than stellar workout, we met another workout mom at Starbucks so I could help her with knitting. I fed Ariel a snack there, some pumpkin loaf, while the boys split a Cinnabun. My lucky day, they didn't finish it so there was some for me too. And, whilst at Starbucks, I got my first Frappachino of the year. It was a touch spring-y outside and I wanted to celebrate.

10:45 Quick run by Bath and Body works for some more Lay it on Think lotion. LOVE that stuff.

11:15 Got home, Ariel was asleep.

1:00 Ariel woke up.

2:00 Ariel had lunch - mixed veggies and yogurt. She turned down a Mildred chocolate chip muffin. Maybe it's because I don't put the sugar on top and use apple sauce for half the oil?

3:00 Back down for a nap. All that walking makes her tired and grumpy.

4:30 Pick up.

Oh, and Adam told me he had to poop several times again today, but so far he hasn't gone. Sigh.
