Feb. 9, 2007

First, an apology. You may have noticed that many pictures weren't showing up this week. I did my best to fix the problem, and finally turned it over to Jeremy-tech-support. His tech-y response to our malfunctioning server, "Goat is a very sad little computer." Most of the pictures were on that computer (and also my photography website) so I'm not sure what we are going to do, but whatever it is it's not happening in the next few hours. So, for now I'll put pictures on my flickr site and I'll have Jeremy work on a solution for the older pictures.

7:00 Drop off. Breakfast - mushed peaches and toast.

8:00 Changed a poopy.

8:30 Left for preschool.

9:00 Dropped Alex off at preschool. Adam and Ariel and I hung out until PALS.

9:30 Super fun PALS class. Adam had a great time painting (on the plexiglass and his shirt), play-doh-ing, and whatever else was out (I don't really pay attention). Ariel was still very observant and timid but she did like the song time at the end, and the challah of course.

11:00 After PALS, Ellen and I took our now regular lunch trip. Ariel once again fell asleep in the car and then slept most of lunch under the table. Adam ordered a pancake and only ate the whipped cream face.

Some collage guys at the next table had a birthday boy and sang happy birthday (though Ellen thinks he was faking for a free pancake) and Adam was obsessed with them. He even came over and said happy birthday to them. That was after Adam went up to another patron intending to "grab" him with a knife and fork, which at least the guy thought was funny.

12:00 Ariel woke up and ate some of Adam's pancake under the table (pancake that I gave her, not that she found. Sheesh, how bad a parent do you think I am?)

Here's sweet Mae. I love this shirt. So much so that when Ellen and I were wasting time at the consignment store a few weeks ago, I suggested that she buy it. Wasn't it a great choice?

12:30 Went back to school for Shabbat sing.

1:15 Left preschool, then joined Ellen and her crew for ice cream. Which sounds like it should be fun but I think every kid under the age of 3 had a tantrum during the 30 minutes we were there. Actually, Ariel had at least two. One fit involved a broken stroller that wouldn't be pushable even if the floor wasn't covered with toys:

Adam had chocolate ice cream (and you can see sad Mae in the background):

And Alex wanted strawberry:

Ariel had another poopy. I changed it in the bathroom and apparently left the wipes on top of the changing table. But don't worry, Becky, I put some more wipes in the diaper bag.

Oh, and Ariel also ate her mushed peas.

2:00 Left the ice cream place. Then we drove around an extra 20 minutes to get Adam to fall asleep. He looked so sweet when we pulled up with his headphones on and his dirty chocolate mouth:

2:50 Alex helped me start our challah. I bet he could almost make it on his own now.

3:00 Ariel had a snack - yogurt and then she tore up but didn't eat Alex's left over quesadillas.

4:00 Pick up, in time to change another poopy diaper. Maybe I'll be like dad and refuse to change them anymore. Or maybe set a limit, like 2 per day. Yeah, that sounds good.

Hooray hooray! Since you said commenting was not optional, here goes! How funny is Ariel in that picture with the stroller? That made Mae very mad at the end too. This is so nice of you to do-I tried to take pics for my friend when I babysat her sweet little boy, but never thought to do a blog! Fun fun fun!

Goat is apparently STILL sad :(

Oh, and there was another poopy after I got home. And one already this morning. Good thing I just bought more wipes.
