7:15 I realized I had a very busy day planned and I wasn't sure when I could get my 4 mile walk in. So Ariel and I ate a quick breakfast (her waffles, me hot cereal) and then I put her down for a nap and left with JJ in charge.
9:00 Got back. JJ said Ariel didn't sleep. But she did have a poopy so I changed it and put her back down.
10:30 Finally got out of the house. I felt like I was moving underwater this morning. Had to wake Ariel up.
10:45 Get to Ellen's pool. A fine swimming day was had by all.
Ariel and Mae-Mae chasing each other:

Playing with the fountain, Adam on the right:

12:00 Had a picnic lunch. Ariel had half a string cheese and half a cereal bar.
12:30 Ellen left with Mae, Ariel and Sam to nap, while I stayed with Adam, Alex and Ted.
1:00 Ellen called to say that Ariel wasn't asleep, but was happy.
1:30 The boys said they were done swimming, so we left the pool.
1:45 Stop at Jamba Juice and the Toy Store.
2:30 Got back to Ellen's house. Ariel finally fell asleep. I swapped Ted for Ariel and drove Ariel to Becky's work. Adam fell asleep in the car as planned. Ariel stayed asleep.
3:00 Drop off.
See, I needed to drop off Ariel because today was Alex's half birthday and we wanted to celebrate at Lakeside. But if I had Ariel, she would be out late, and Ellen and I would have to take two cars.
So here's what Ariel missed...
Mae's first amusement park ride:

Not sure about it, but decided it was fun afterall:

Tried this ride. Mae decided it was NOT fun. The operator stopped it for her to get off:

Sam rode the roller coaster like a maniac:

So did Adam and Alex:

Ted and Sam on the ferris wheel. Adam was the only one who didn't want to go up.

Boats!

Much fun was had by all. As usual, Lakeside was very uncrowded. The kids only had to wait for rides if the ride was moving when the got there. They lapped their favorite ones like the roller coaster and the frog hopper.
