I hope everyone had a fun 4th of July. We took a long weekend and went down to Turkey Toe Ranch.

Saturday, we went to a bench dedication/memorial for Sharon who passed away 18 months ago.

And then I went to visit my college roommate Stephanie, and her new baby Grace:

And then we finally headed down to the Toe on Sunday. I didn't take as many pictures as usual, but I did try to get a new angle. I'm not wowed by any, but some are interesting:

And oh yes, we did a quick trip to Bishop's Castle. Alex and Adam were in a knight phase all week and it seemed like the thing to do. Bishop is still a loon, and even more so when he's instigated (uh-hem, Greg?). But anyone who builds a castle by hand with cement and rocks isn't going to be playing with a full deck anyway.

And then Alex and Adam stayed down with Grammie and Pop-Pop and Jeremy and I came home. We are already having too much fun. Last night we went out for mojitos and missed the fireworks.

7:00 Drop off.

7:15 Ariel did not want any baby food, but she ate 6 mini waffles.

7:30 Changed a poopy.

8:30 Since I only had one kid, I did my walk in the morning instead of the evening. Ariel and I walked to Starbucks (I really wanted to skip it, really) and then stopped at the park on the way home.

10:00 Ariel fell asleep in the stroller, then took at nap at home.

12:30 Ariel woke up. She had some mac & cheese for lunch.

1:00 When we got home from our walk I got the baby pool out and filled it up so the water could heat.

Ariel liked the baby pool. Even though the top ring has an undetectable leak and wouldn't stay filled.









Then I got Ariel a popsicle and she got made because it was a big kind with a big stick and she couldn't figure it out. So we gave up on that and went inside.

Ariel played with Baby Doll in the afternoon.








4:00 Pick up early for yet another doctor's appointment.
