August 10, 2007

Ahh... Crissy and I managed to take a mini-vacation this week sans kidlets. We spent a couple of days in Breckenridge. One of the highlights was our hike to Mohawk Lake. Crissy's crew spent the night with us again last night.

7:10 Drop off. Jeremy fed Ariel waffles while I showered.

8:00 Crissy decided Ariel was tired so she changed a messy diaper and put her down for a nap.

9:45 Ariel woke up. We went to Barker park so Marcus to have a playdate with a Boulder friend.

Here's the only picture I got of Alex and Gavin this trip:

Ariel trying to find a nuk substitute:

Chained bikes are fine when you can't pedal anyway:

Ariel enjoys her favorite pastime of emptying my purse:

Adam has a huge bandaid on his face because he bumped it last night and insisted on it.

And then I took away a broken shovel that Ariel was using to fling sand in everyone's face and then she realized nuk was at my house and she had a very energetic tantrum, complete with foot stamping:

It's hard to take a self portrait with a d-SLR camera:

11:00 We left the park.

11:25 I left Crissy and her boys at the bus stop so they could take the RTD to the airport. This 10 day vacation was way to short.

11:45 Everyone had mac & cheese for lunch.

1:30 Ariel went down for another nap

3:45 Wake up

4:00 Pick up
