I had a nice two day vacation from Ariel. The parents are finally back from their Canadian vacation and took her yesterday. Of course, they didn't actually tell Becky or I they would watch her, so it was a pleasant surprise.
Crissy arrived Wednesday. Yesterday we all went to Apex to go swimming. Lots of fun, and more fun without watching Ariel try to drown herself.
7:00 Drop off.
Crissy was very glad see Ariel. I don't think Ariel remember Crissy, but she always likes attention:

I asked Ariel if she wanted waffles or hot cereal today and she said waffles.
9:00 We left late to go to the last day of camp.
9:30 PALS. It was just Ariel, Mae and Nate again. Not even a teacher. But they still had fun. They played with play-doh and cars and babies again. I brought a challah:

Nate. He'd be a good betrothed for Ariel, but I think he and Mae are already matched:

And Ariel and her pretty dress:

And Mae:

After snack we went outside and had popsicles. Ariel had a yellow one and it was good for everyone involved.
11:30 We met Crissy and Gavin at Wahoo's for lunch. Julie and Nate joined us too. Ariel actually ate a bit of quesadilla and french fries.
So if you are ever in the Wahoo's in Boulder, you have to look for my sticker. I got this "sweet" sticker in St. Louis 2 1/2 years ago and it's been up in Wahoo's for about 2 years. I'll be sad if anything ever happens but so far it's good.

12:30 We went back to camp for Shabbat sing, Crissy and Gavin joining us. Sing was fun because half the teachers and the camp director are on vacation so Ellen led it. Hee hee.
1:00 After camp, we played outside for a while. It was a little sad to think that this was the last day at the JCC for the boys.
2:15 Got home. Ariel had fallen asleep in the car, Adam fell asleep at home. We had a quiet afternoon, Crissy is seeing other friends this weekend.
4:00 Pick up.
And I took this video tonight. Last time Alex came home from Grammie's he had memorized some poems. I hadn't even heard about the hippo until tonight. Too bad he's using his baby talk voice, but it's cute he's memorized so much:

CUTIE! Baby voice or not, I love it. The 'allergic to cheese' one is Ted's favorite.
Wow, last day of camp already? That went by fast.
