7:30 Breakfast - hot cereal
8:30 Down for nap
While Ariel napped, the boys and I worked on paper airplanes. I think Grammie gave Alex this book a while ago, but it was recently discovered:

Then we had to go outside and try flying them. The flame glider did the best fly.

Well, I mostly threw them, the boys helped retrieve them.

10:00 Ariel woke up with a poopy. We had a quick snack and then we got ready for a bike ride to the park.
I have been making a concerted effort since school started to make sure my kids wash their face and brush their teeth in the morning. Ariel loves brushing her teeth and now she has her own purple brush to keep at my house (courtesy of my dentist.)

10:30 Left
10:50 Arrived at the park, pretty good time. We didn't have long to play. The boys played on a tire swing and Ariel bogarted a shovel from Burt and Oscar. It seriously took all my willpower not to ask where Ernie was.
11:05 Got back home.
11:25 Got home, shoveled some lunch in Alex
11:47 Got to school 2 minutes late. I ran Alex to his classroom and it was empty and dark. I told him to hang up his backpack while I ran back to the stroller to grab Ariel and Adam. When I got back to the classroom, Alex was in tears thinking I had abandoned him. The ESL teacher and another boy were there too. Apparent the class goes right to music on Tuesday and Thursdays. Now, this is only the 3rd day of school and we have waited 5 and 15 minutes respectively to get in the first days. But I cannot believe they don't even have a 5 minute buffer in this class. Actually not even a 3 minutes buffer. When we got to the school I waved to a mom who had just dropped off her daughter and had only time to walk down the building 4 classrooms. We'll be sure not to be late again (he's been so late getting out I assumed my watch was just not in sync with the school). But I admit to being a tad livid and maybe taking it out a tad on the ESL teacher. I have not been impressed with the organization thus far.
12:00 Got back home.
1:30 I need to pack and get ready for my big MS walk with weekend. So I did the unusual and put in a video for Ariel and Adam - Elmo. And she love it.
2:10 Some mac & cheese
2:35 Picked up Alex. His teacher asked if I could talk to her after school. That is, after she got the bus kids sorted out and the YMCA kids taken to the gym. She apologized for the hectic schedule and let me know if we are a few minutes late that I can take Alex to music without checking in at the front office. She still sounds pretty frazzled. And is loosing her voice.
3:30 Got home, found the nuk and Ariel went down for a nap.
4:30 Pick up.
