7:20 Becky finally left. Ariel had the first of many meltdowns.
8:40 Grandpa came up to walk to Starbucks with us. Hannah and Ariel rode in the double stroller and Alex rode his bike. The walk down was lovely. The girls entertained each other, Alex did great waiting for us, the weather was nice but still cool.
9:20 Got to Starbucks. Alex, Ariel and Grandpa had a donut. After my 4 mile run I was feeling virtuous and passed. But I did have a newly-returned-to-the-menu mint frappachio. I missed this drink but I'm balking at paying $4 for a tall.
9:45 Left Starbucks. Ariel wanted to walk but I told her she needed to ride with Hannah so we could get home in a timely manner. She had a huge stiff screaming tantrum for much longer than I thought anyone would have the energy for. The walk home was not so lovely.
10:30 Got home, and just in time. We ordered insulation for the attic and the men were here early.
11:10 I left Ariel napping with Grandpa and Alex and I rode to Adam's school.
11:35 Late Adam pick up.
11:45 Dropped Alex off.
1:45 Ariel woke up on her own accord, and fairly cheerful.
2:30 Picked up Alex from school. Did I fail to mention that Ariel wore a swim suit all day and peppered conversation with, "We go swimming now, ok?" I thought this picture sums up life pretty well at this point:

Ariel in a swimsuit and sunglasses and Adam with a "boy" purple barrette playing with a newly found hula hoop. I choose my battles.
We stayed at school and played again. Lots of sliding and swinging. Swimsuits are good for the slide, you can't get going so fast that you shoot off the end.
3:52 For the first time today, Ariel was sitting quietly by herself. And then I looked over and she was eating a kleenex.
4:10 Thought it would be better to wait for Becky outside, away from the paper products.
4:30 Pick up, and none to soon.

gotta say - this is my new favorite picture (yes, Alex in the pink flamingo suit has been replaced) - although if you wanted to post THAT in the blog, I'd be entertained. Did 4 miles this morning and it was muuuuuch easier. Fracking treadmill.
