7:15 Drop off.
Breakfast - bogurt and hot cereal.
7:50 Walked Alex to school.
9:30 Weekly grocery store trip, back on schedule. It was so nice today I thought to myself, "Self, wouldn't it be nice to ride your bike to the store?" And Self thought that sounded nice so we did. And it was a full grocery store trip including kitty litter but at least not toilet paper. And then, the ride home:

I did rearrange after I took this picture and Ariel was quite happy on the way home. And I'm so very glad I decided to go home before we tried to pick up Adam, it doesn't appear that there would have been room for another child.
This week's menu:
Enchiladas
Sweet and sour shrimp
Alex's multi-colored noodles with tomato sauce
Black beans and rice
Salmon, asparagus and challah
10:45 Got home and put the groceries away.
Ariel was very excited about her grocery store balloon that was just handed to her by a checker. Everyone loves an Ariel. And I guess I should mention Ariel had a banner day at the store, she also got not one but TWO pink cookies and rode the penny horse. I don't know why people would actually pay for entertainment for their kids when there's already so much free stuff out there.

11:20 Left again on the bike to pick up Adam.
11:40 Home - lunch of mac & cheese and no sauce.
So, you may have noticed I can be slightly hippy-dippy. After all, I did just stuff my niece into a bike trailer full of groceries to save driving 2 miles. Here are some other new hippy dippy things you too can try at home.
Cloth napkins - I don't use napkins and never used to buy them, so Jeremy and Adam just used paper towels. Now we have napkins on the table that can be washed with towels. And let me tell you, it's not easy finding napkins that don't have to be washed on the gentle cycle and laid flat to dry. Uh, not happening.

And I'm sure you are concerned with all the lastest news on plastics and BPA and other horrible chemicals. So, here's my new water bottle:

Jeremy likes buying Italian soda to mix his vodka in when he's not drinking mojitos. That's normal, right? And now I have a 100% plastic free bottle. It will be all fine and dandy until someone drops it and amputates their foot. But we'll cross that bridge when we come to it. Oh, and my lunch? That a spinach and cream cheese quesadilla. Not bad.
And another plastic reducing idea - the kids like grape juice, especially on Shabbat. But it's either really expensive or in evil #1 bottles. So today I bought a big glass bottle of apple juice (apparently they don't sell big glass jars of grape juice) and I can reuse it with froze concentrate grape juice.
12:00 Ariel happily went down for a nap. Adam and I made chocolate covered strawberries and pretzels. Mmmmmm.
2:30 Woke Ariel up. She had a dry pull up.
2:25 Picked up Alex and then stayed at school playing. Cause Dad, we do that everyday it is warm and we don't have anywhere else to be.
4:00 Got home.
4:09 Started the Cinco de Mayo festivities early by opening that delicious Corona.
4:30 Pick up.

You go, hippie dippie! Just don't go using crystals on your pits. (I suppose I shouldn't talk, but Paul says the lemon is working.)
And HOORAY for happy knees!
That Ariel picture is hysterical.
I'm happily poisoning myself multiple times a day with my plastic bottle thankyouverymuch.
